§ 9. Condemnation of property; powers.

  • Said municipality shall have power to condemn property, real or personal, or any easement, interest, estate or use therein, either within or without the limits of the city, for present or future public use. Such condemnation shall be made and effected upon the same terms and conditions as provided for in the general laws of the State of Georgia with reference to the condemnation of private property for public use, or as may be provided by any future laws, amendments or changes of such laws having reference to the condemnation of private property for public uses.
