§ 8. Powers pertaining to property.

Said City of Chamblee shall have power to own, hold, purchase or receive, improve, sell, lease, mortgage, pledge or dispose of property, real or personal, and any interest or estate therein, within or without the limits of the city when necessary for governmental purposes.
