§ 250-9. On-street parking.

Latest version.
  • (a)

The Development Director may approve credit for on-street parking spaces as a means to reduce the off-street parking requirements for a parcel, provided the developer of the project constructs the spaces to be counted toward the site's off-street parking requirement.

    (b)

A maximum of 25 percent of the total required parking spaces may be set aside for on-street parking, up to a maximum of 50 spaces, whichever is less. The spaces shall be dedicated to the City and shall be used as public parking that shall not be signed or assigned to a single site once in use.

    (c)

On-street parking stalls shall be marked and shall measure a minimum of 8 feet in width and 22 feet, 6 inches in length.

    (d)

If on-street parking spaces have already been counted toward another development, they cannot be counted for an additional property.
