§ 43. Social security coverage.

The mayor and council of the City of Chamblee shall have authority to enter into all necessary contracts and agreements, bonds and other instruments for the purpose of furnishing social security protection and insurance to its employees and other persons eligible for such protection under existing laws, or under future laws. They shall have authority to expend public money for said purpose, as elsewhere provided in this act.
