§ 40. Taxes payable in installments, delinquent date for taxes.

All ad valorem taxes on real property due to such municipality shall be payable in installments and such installments shall be considered as delinquent after the fifteenth day of August of the year for which the first installment is levied and after the fifteenth day of November of the year for which the second installment is levied and executions may issue thereafter and shall bear interest at the legal rate from such date.
