§ 6-47. Compliance with applicable regulations; payment of license fee; license denial.

  • Before any license shall be granted under this article, the applicant therefor shall comply with all rules and regulations adopted by the mayor and city council regulating the sale of alcoholic beverages, and each applicant for a license shall pay a license fee in an amount as established by action of the city council. A copy of the license fees as established from time to time by action of the city council is on file in the office of the city clerk. If the applicant does not satisfy the standards to obtain the license that the applicant seeks, the city clerk shall issue a written notice of intent to deny the license.
