§ 31-36. Unauthorized use of public employees.

  • A public servant shall not use his or her position to request or require an employee to:

    (1)

    Do work on behalf of his or her social, church or fraternal interests without paying just compensation;

    (2)

    Do work on behalf of a member of the family of the public servant without paying just compensation;

    (3)

    Purchase goods and services to be used for personal, business or political purposes; and

    (4)

    Work for him or her personally or in his or her private business without paying just compensation.
