§ 30-4. Vote required for election.

  • The qualified candidate for mayor receiving the highest number of legal votes shall be declared elected. The candidate who is qualified for council member and who receives the highest number of legal votes for each district post shall be declared elected. The candidate for each other elective office who receives the highest number of votes legally cast shall be declared elected, if he is legally qualified and his name legally entered.
