§ 18-46. Purpose of article.

(a)

It is the purpose of this article to:

(1)

Require the use of ultra-low-flow plumbing fixtures in all new construction, or when replacing plumbing fixtures during renovation or remodeling of existing buildings;

(2)

Promote compliance with state law for the purpose of conserving water; and

(3)

Maintain the integrity of drinking water supplies and reduce wastewater flows.
