§ 300-43. Stop work orders.

  • (a)

    The Development Director is authorized to issue a stop work order when a violation of a permit occurs, see Section 310-24, Violations, Enforcement and Penalties. Unless more time is needed for corrective action to prevent imminent public danger or property damage, if the violation has not ceased within 30 minutes of the issuance of the stop work order, the Development Director shall take any or all of the following actions:

    (1)

    Immediately revoke the permit.

    (2)

    Issue a citation subject to enforcement by the municipal court.

    (3)

    Institute a civil action for injunctive relief.

    (4)

    Take other enforcement steps authorized in this UDO.
