Article 6. APPEALS OF ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS |
§ 280-43. Application filing.
(a)
Decisions by the Development Director or any other city official made pursuant to this article may be appealed to the mayor and city council by filing a request with the Development Director within 15 days of the administrative decision.
(b)
Appeals shall be in accordance with procedures and conditions of this article.
(c)
Upon receipt of a complete application of appeal, the Development Director or other city official whose decision is being appealed must transmit to the mayor and city council all papers constituting the record upon which the action appealed is taken.
(d)
If no appeal is made within the 15-day period, the decision of the Development Director is final.

If an appeal is made to the mayor and city council, the mayor and city council shall set a hearing date and hold a hearing for the appeal within 45 days of the appeal being requested, and the decision of the mayor and city council is final.
